Principles of Operation

?? ? ? ?CI-20 cable identification system consists of three parts: signal generator, receiver clamp and indication meter.

?? ? ? ?Signal generator to produce specific pulse modulation signal, and applied to the disconnected cable, uses the receiver clamp and indication meter to find the measured cable at the field, When the receiver clamp detected the special signal that applied to the cable, indicator meter's pointer will synchronization swing with the imposition signal frequency. In other cable, Detected signal will have a lot of small and in the opposite direction, through the amplitude and direction of the meter indication, the able under test is very easy to determine.
